Berghotel Bastei - Lohmen (Saxony)

The view from the hotel is stunning, surrounded by beautiful nature. , the breakfast provided was delightful with a wide range of options to choose from. The hiking trails nearby are well marked out and easy to navigate. One of the best aspects was the proximity to the famous bridge, which made it a perfect starting point for our day hikes.

The neighboring construction site was a disappointment. The noise from the drilling was very loud and started early in the morning.

The location was unbeatable, just a short walk to the famous attraction. The facilities were clean and modern. The panoramic restaurant had an very nice view of the Elbe down below. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

During Easter, we enjoyed the stunning views from our room and the yummy breakfast with plenty of options to choose from. the location of the hotel was perfect for a peaceful retreat, away from noisy streets and close to beautiful hiking trails. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the friendly service from most of the staff.

The lack of dinner options. the restaurant next to the hotel was a bit disappointing as the food quality did not meet our expectations.

Rooms are well-furnished and comfy, and the breakfast had a huge array of choices. Don't miss the nearby Koenigstein Fortress and the hiking trails!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming and comfortable hotel nestled in the heart of Saxon Switzerland. The hotel's location is superb, with easy access to the Bastei bridge just a short walk away. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the valley below. The staff here are friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests. The room itself was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a lovely sitting area. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast served each morning, and the coffee was exceptional. The restaurant offered a variety of delicious dishes, including a kids menu and fresh fish.
